Our kids' dreams came true as they caught crawdads in the creek, took turns soaring on the rope swing and pulled each other across the pond on the Huck Finn Rope Ferry. They loved exploring the tree house, feeding the goats and a highlight was the Hummer ride around the property. Mariel and the staff at Candlelight Forest took such good care of us -- helping us set up for the party and even providing some food for our festivities. Not only did the kiddos have fun, but the grownups set up our chairs in the creek and enjoyed a reprieve from the hot August day.
